Bright. Carefree. Jokester.
Sezen has the kind of smile you can see for miles away. He is constantly playing with his friends and laughing, something he was unable to do before he was sponsored. He is so cleaver and bright with all the potential in the world to do great things!
Sezin lived in the slums of Kipsongo with his siblings. His older sister Rose was sponsored and he was left with the responsibility of taking care of his brothers and sisters. He had his mother and a step-father, but his mother did not work and his step-father was very abusive and was most of the time drunk. I remember visiting his home in November, I was helping our photographer film and get interviews done to rescue Sezen form his home. He was very sick; he was running a very high fever and sweating terribly. Seeing how and where they lived broke my heart. Sezen was unable to attend school and hardly any food to eat due to his family unable to provide for him. Now that he is sponsored and has been brought out of that terrible situation Sezen is doing well in school, he has three meals a day, and he can be a care free little boy with his friends. Thank you for changing his life.
